Coffret D'or CM Eyes : Recreating the Tutorial

I was really excited to receive the Coffret D'or CM Eyes in the mail from Adam Beauty. I decided to go with the Blue Green Mix and I'm so glad that I did! It is a gorgeous palette with very nice texture and colours. I love how Japanese eyeshadows are sheer yet buildable and long lasting.

My decision to go for the Blue Green Mix is partly due to Coffret's advert. The model looked so fresh and bright with this palette. I really wanted to re-create the look once I got the palette, so I went through the website's tutorial. I didn't have the rest of their items for the look (eyeliners, blusher, etc), so I improvised with my own :)

Below were the items used

Too Faced Primer, then brushed white 'A' shade over entire lid

Mixed together Green & Blue shade 'B' and brushed from bottom of lid upwards past crease

Tight lined eyes with Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil in Zero, entire top lid and half of outer bottom lid

Smudged darkest shade 'C' over eyeliner on top of lid and half-way at bottom, then smudged Green shade 1-B on inner corner of bottom lashline. Finally, applied The Body Shop Double Intensity Mascara

For foundation, I used Chantecaille Future Skin in Camomile. For blusher, Paul & Joe Face Color in 04. For lips, Clinique long last glosswear in Cabana Crush.

Overall, I am really happy with the Coffret D'or palette. It gives such a bright, clean look that is very flattering. I might pick up another palette from this series, but will have to look around for other reviews before deciding on which one.

Blog Intro & EOTD

Inspired by some very informative and creative beauty blogs on the internet, I decided to keep a blog of my own. I hope that this endeavour will both fuel and fulfill my appetite for makeup.

First EOTD

My First EOTD is achieved with Lunasol's Sheer Contrast Eyes in Green Coral

Eyeliner: Urban Decay 24/7 in Stash

Mascara: Lancome Definicils

1) Used the Green Shade on inner part of the eyes, from the lash line going up slightly past the crease. 2) Used the Brown Shade on the outer corner of the eyes. 3) Lined upper lash line with Urban Decay liner in Stash. Also gently lined half of the outer lashline at the bottom. 4) Smudged lash line with the brown shade. I did this all over the top lash line and half way for the bottom lash line (outer area). 5) Used the Yellow Shade on the inner corner of the bottom lash line (1/3 of the way). 6) Used the White Shade as all over highligher, emphasizing the brow bone

I thoroughly enjoyed making this first post and hope to keep this blog up to date. To all the seasoned makeup bloggers out there, please feel free to make suggestions :)
